Clear load-bearing identification
Visual label: Paste the load-bearing warning sign in a prominent position of the smart rack column, marking "single-layer maximum load XXkg" and "number of stacking layers ≤X layers" and other information.
Zoning management: Divide the storage area according to the load-bearing capacity (such as area A ≤1000kg, area B ≤1500kg), and distinguish them by color coding to facilitate operators to quickly identify.
Standardize the placement of goods
Size adaptation: The size of the goods must be less than 10cm smaller than the inner diameter of the shelf to avoid the edge of the goods squeezing the column. For example, for a smart rack with an inner diameter of 1200mm, the maximum storage width of the goods is ≤1100mm.
Center control: The center of the goods should be within ±5cm of the center of the smart rack beam. Extra-wide goods need to use extended brackets or customized shelves.
Handling equipment matching
Forklift tonnage limit: When using a forklift, its rated lifting capacity should be ≥ the total load of the rack + cargo weight + safety margin (recommended ≥20%). For example, when carrying cargo with a total weight of 2500kg, a forklift of ≥3 tons is required.
Operation speed: The forklift speed should be ≤5km/h, and the turning radius should be ≥3m to avoid sudden stops and starts that may cause the shelf to tip over.
