Mobile racks, also known as stacking racks or smart racks, are a type of warehousing and logistics equipment, mainly used for warehouse unit storage. Mobile racks are usually composed of columns, bottom frames, outer frames and inner frames. They have a simple structure but high strength and are suitable for multi-layer stacking and storage of goods. It can be derived from pallets and is one of the multifunctional equipment for cargo unit assembly, commodity storage and commodity circulation. It needs to be used with a forklift.
Overview of mobile racks
Its outstanding advantage is that it improves space utilization. A set of racks only needs one channel, while a channel of a fixed pallet rack only serves two rows of racks on both sides of the channel. Therefore, in the same space, the storage capacity of mobile racks is much higher than that of general fixed racks.
